I bought one of your bags at the dollar store and now the zipper is broke. What do I do?

Most likely you have a pack that looks like one of these:

We empathize with your frustration but it is not one of our bags. You will never find one of our packs being sold at a discount store. While the logo has some similar elements, they are not the same. Our name is Boulder Creek Packs and our logo is sewn on, not printed onto the fabric.

If you do have one of the packs pictured above and it is broken in some way, you should return it to the store where it was purchased.

Where are Boulder Creek Packs manufactured?

Everything you find on our site is hand-made in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana.

What is CORDURA®?

CORDURA® fabric is a collection of fabrics that are used in a wide array of products from luggage and backpacks to boots, military wear and performance apparel. CORDURA® brand fabrics are recognized for their long-lasting durability and resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs.

What does 1000D mean? Is it good?

Denier is a unit of measurement that is used to determine the fiber thickness of individual threads or filaments used in the creation of textiles and fabrics. Fabrics with a high denier count tend to be thick, sturdy, and durable. Fabrics with a low denier count tend to be sheer, soft, and silky.

Is CORDURA® waterproof?

While it is not waterproof, it is water resistant. If you are going to be hiking in extended wet conditions, we suggest lining your pack with a trashbag to help keep your items as dry as possible. No one wants soggy socks at the end of a day!
